5th of July, lazy day
The day started at around 9:30 for us, but because Wayne was working from 2:15am until afternoon and Lori went out to visit her mother, Doris, we slept a little longer. We ate breakfast and then we had to fill in our own day, so we just watched some TV and waited until Wayne came home, so we could eat lunch. After that, Lori came back home and we cleaned the deck, so it was ready to be painted at Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on how the weather is. When we finished dinner, Christiaan and I played Battleship and then we went downstairs and slept early.
6th of July, beginning of the sidewalk
At 8am, which was pretty unexpected and early, we had to wake up and eat breakfast, because we had a lot to do. Immediately after breakfast, we brought the BBQ of their son Jeremy to his house, so the space where the sidewalk was meant to be was free. After that, the four of us loaded the bulls in the cattle truck and delivered them at the butcher, which was a ride of around 45 minutes. On the way back home, we went to Fleet Farm, to buy some tools for painting the deck. When we were back home, the weather started becoming worse, so Wayne went to bed. Lori and I decided to visit the library to get some movies. When we came home, Wayne was ready to start with the sidewalk. Christiaan and I were supposed to level the ground, by the use of sand, which Wayne brought with the tractor. After leveling most of the sidewalk, it started raining, so we decided to leave the work for what it was and continue the day after. After that, we ate dinner and watched a movie. Then we went to bed early, because we were pretty tired.
