9th of July, staining the deck
The day began at 9am. We ate breakfast and after that we started staining the west-side of the deck. This took us about two hours. We did this together with Lori, because Wayne was driving the milk truck. Around 12am, when we stopped staining, we ate lunch. Then Lori went to the grocery store, to buy some food. We decided to stay home and watch a movie. Around 6pm, we ate supper with the four of us. In the evening, we played with the kickball. This was the end of our 6th day in the USA!
10th of July, Pizza Hut
Today was the last day of hard work. We woke up at 8am, because Wayne shouted we had to hurry, in order to finish the staining before afternoon. We quickly ate some waffles or toast and put our gloves on after that. It was time to paint the rest of the deck. It took us about 3 hours to paint the front and the backside of the deck and the floor. When we were finally done, we could rest a bit and eat some ice cold watermelon. Then we ate lunch and after that we went for some shooting. With a shotgun and a machine gun we shot for some time, it was fun to do. Following, we leveled some more sand next to the concrete sidewalk, where Wayne sowed some grass. The last task was to help them putting the two calves in one hutch. When we were finished with that, we took a quick shower and went to the Pizza Hut for dinner. Around 8pm we came back and relaxed a bit. To our great pleasure, Lori told us that we could sleep longer tomorrow. We are here already for a week, time flies! Still enjoying our stay.
